Hello. Can you advise where the drop off point is for taxi from the airport and how long a walk it is from there to the hostel in the Medina?

The closest drop off point for taxis is called Riad Laarouss. Remember to negotiate the price before. From there to the hostel is about 5-7 min walk. We also offer a door-to-door transfer from the airport, very useful and with a reasonable price.

How big is the double bed?

Dear guest, in depends on the kind of room you booked. On the superior and Suite, is a queen size bed (1,80m aprox). On the double and economic room, is a 1,60m bed.

Is the pool situated in the sun all day?

Dear guest, The pool is on the central patio, so there is no sun all day long, just few hours at midday. That allow our guest to hang around even in the heat of the summer. For those who want sunbathing, we the terrace, sunny all day long.

The best hostel in Marrakech!

The Hostel is well located in the Medina and within walking distance of Taxi stops (Most cars could not enter the Medina due to the streets' size). The building is modern and comfortable. The beds are nice, with curtains allowing a bit of privacy. The pool is nice for hot days, and the terrace is great for afternoons. The breakfast includes cereals, fruits, eggs, coffee, juices and bread. Thanks to the amazing hosts Nassima, Ahmed, and Ilhame, my stay was incredible. They helped me across my stay, from providing tourist tips to booking my shuttle to the airport.

Payment with a card at the hostel bar is only allowed with a minimum amount (Bear this in mind if you are trying to buy a bottle of water at night).

Really central as the name suggests! Rooms are comfy

Air con did struggle but was as good as it gets in 45 degree heat! Pool was abit dirty and quite small and beers were quite expensive

The hostel is beautiful and very well located, but its most valuable asset is its staff.

I loved the time I spent in Marrakech and at TCH! The hostel is beautiful and very well located, but its most valuable asset is its staff. I must say, the only “problem” I had during my stay was the earthquake that hit Marrakech on September 8th 2023, the day I arrived at TCH. It was, of course, a terrifying experience, beyond what we can call a “problem”. I do not have any special staff member I can name. ALL OF THEM WERE SPECIAL, FIRST CLASS STAFF MEMBERS. ALL OF THEM. When the earthquake hit, I was on the terrace. As soon as it ended, I ran downstairs and the first person I saw was a staff member from the bar, who asked me “Are you okay?”. He was checking that all guests were doing fine, that all were safe. Yes, the earthquake was shocking, but I will always remember how all staff members were present and with us, despite having their own worries and fears about their family members. I felt protected, cared for, I received information every time there was something available. I saw the staff members and the hostel manager constantly checking on different hotel guests, bringing cookies when we all were spending the night awake. I will never forget the earthquake, and I always remember the caring attention and care that the beautiful staff showed with us. On Saturday morning, breakfast was served, the bar opened, the facilities were cleaned, the reception area was providing information and slowly all was getting back to “normal”. But for me, this was not normal, this was beyond my expectations. I am more than grateful and humbled for this experience. I send all members of TCH my most heartfelt appreciation and respect.

Fantastic!!!

Hassima and the other two gentlemen at the receptionist desk were all very attentive to all my needs. For example, booking a taxi to and from the airport, printing my boarding pass for free, and giving recommendations for restaurants near by. The hostel played a variety of Arabic and other genres of music which I definitely enjoyed when I was in the courtyard hanging out with my new friends. The hostel is clean, and a welcoming environment for everyone!

Great hostel

Great to have a pool for refreshment. Beds in the dorms are comfortable and have curtains. Helpful staff and alcohol is served at this hostel, which is rare.

The breakfast was alright, but could be better value for its price (70mad). It's a bit disappointing to drink coffee from a machine instead of good moroccan coffee.

it was an ok experience

The place is well kept and well-located. This is one of the best hostel I ve ever been. Especially when it comes to good comfort, location, security, and cleanness.

The hostel is beautiful and their installations are well-kept. However, they seen tourist as an ATM machine.They charge you for every little single thing. Their internet and food are not that great. Overall, it’s a good bargain for what it offers.

Wonderful

It was a nice hotel/hostels. extremely neat, nice staff. comfortable and you’ll definitely meet other tourist.

Limited breakfast option and food was bland. getting to the hotel you’ll have to go through the souk. it felt very overwhelming, with men chanting different things at me and my friend each time we stepped out “spice girls, shakira, chocolate, Nutella spread”

the location was perfect, the staff was very kind and helpful and the terrace was amazing!

In the shared hostel room the shower and toilet were in the same room. So if you took a shower the whole bathroom was wet and you couldn’t go to the toilet.

loved everything about the central house and marrakech. I would highly recommend it

beautiful building on the edge of the Medina. high quality decor and really nice staff. it was perfect.

there was meant to be a rooftop bar but most nights it wasn’t open but it really didn’t spoil our stay. there was another bar in the courtyard by the pool. the bar closed at 11pm but I think that is due to its location.
